Lounge chair, in metal and orange fabric by Rudolf Wolf for Rohe, Noordwolde the Netherlands 1950s. This orange fabric chair is a true mid-modern design piece. With its voluptuous lines in the seating yet clean lines on the base it is a truly beautiful yet comfortable chair. Rudolf Wolf can be seen as one the most important Industrial designers of the Netherlands. After a career in architecture he focused from the mid-1950s on furniture designs for various manufacturers which he stopped at the end of the 1960s.
