1952, Egon Eiermann for Wilde & Spieth, Wooden Folding Chair

Categories: ,

This wooden folding chair has a design with beautiful details and therefore it is interesting from any angle; the connections of the legs, the curved seat (pictures #8, #10, #16) and round details. The chair shows some traces of usage like some scratches and a darker ‘line’ on the seat (#14-#16) and some really tiny chips/damage.

There is another Eiermann folding chair available and listed, but this piece is missing some lacquer (#19) and differ in dimensions 77 H x 44 cm SH x 49 m W x 56 cm D

The width of the seat is 41.5 cm and the total width of the chair is 51 cm

The dimensions when folded; 89 cm H x 12 cm D x 51 cm W
