1954, Coen de Vries for Devo Wooden Writing Desk with Red Drawer and Formica Top

Beautiful designed, original little writing desk in wood with X-base, red colored drawer and formica top. Coen de Vries is among the Dutch pioneers of Industrial Design Many of Coen de Vries’ practical designs where recommended by Goed Wonen (Good Living) a Dutch 50’s interior magazine. Original condition, visible wear. This is a beautiful little wooden writing desk with original formica desktop and elegant crossed legs. One of the right legs is a bit crooked as one can see on image 6, but the desk is stabile. Has one red drawer. The right corner of the wooden drawer is chipped. On the left front side of the desk top are some minor yellow spots.

Measure: Weight 13.5 kg

The space under the drawer to the floor is 61 cm.
