1958, Ray & Charles Eames, for Herman Miller, Early 4-Legs Lounge Chair EA 124

Description

Black EA 124 with dark grey head cushion with glossy base by Herman Miller. This beautiful piece is still in a good condition, although there are some traces of wear like the glossy base became less glossy (pictures #14 and #15) and some loss of the ‘plastic’ layer (#11 and #12), probably caused by touch. The upholstery shows just some light spots of wear and the color of the head cushion is dark grey but might have been black originally. The rotating base with tilt has Herman miller Brands (#16 and #17).
