Pilastro, Tjerk Reijenga vintage sixties stool. Sculptural metal wire base and plate metal seat. Designed in 1966 by Tjerk Reijenga for Pilastro, Zwanenburg – Holland. Tjerk Reijenga was the leading designer of the Pilastro collection from the 1950s and 1960s. Well known for his colorful minimal metal designs of shelves and coat racks. Sidetabel or stool in black metal shows traces of wear at the top; loss of paint and some rusty stains. The side table/stool gained character by it over the years. The top is missing a ‘wing nut’ to fix to the base, underneath ; we can supply a alternative one.
